Modern Boardwalk Wedding Inspiration | VermontBrideMagazine.com

Art Deco and the roaring twenties have been inspiring brides and grooms for a few years now and it's clear we can't get enough of the glitz, gold, and glam that oozes from this era. That's why we loved this inspiration, styled shoot sent to us by Edward Lai Photography. From the gorgeously adorned pink flapper gown, to the over-the-top cigar bar, these photos are dripping with timeless elegance and style.

White cafe lights draped against a white, brick wall give a warm, cozy, yet Hollywood feel to the table design. The glam continues with gold, gold, and more gold in the place settings, goblets, and candle holders. The design team from A Day To Remember Wedding & Events perfectly paired the rich, velvety reds with soft peach tones, and sparkly, crystal details.

The decadence continues with the cigar bar, outfitted with all of the accoutrements, any cigar enthusiast would gladly sit and relax here for long into the night. Cigars, from Cigar City, also double as placeholders and favors at each of the place settings. With opulance like this, it's clear that this time period will be inspiring us for decades to come.

Gina and Tim frequently "get away from it all" at Gina's father's log cabin in the woods of Vermont, and they knew they wanted their friends and family to have that same feeling at their June wedding. Their whimsical, rustic celebration started with an intimate ceremony under a covered bridge. With the sound of the babbling brook beneath them, and those closest to their hearts around them, Gina and Tim exchanged "I dos". The elegant Hermitage Inn provided the perfect backdrop for the rest of the day's festivities. Here are some highlights from Gina;

It might be feeling like winter is never going to be over, but we can't help ourselves in sharing this gorgeous October wedding at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield. With charming details like leaf adorned place cards on a chickenwire frame, cozy blankets for chilly guests, a caramel apple and cupcake display, and monogrammed table runners - Brittany and Daniel's wedding day embraced everything wonderful about fall in Vermont. Read on for more pictures and to hear what Brittany had to say about their vision:

The winter landscape in Vermont can start to look a little monochrome after a while, with snow-covered mountains, trees, and the pale gray, cloudy sky that typically dominates from December through March. To cut through the stark white, we love the idea of using deep, rich jewel tones to add warmth and sparkle to a winter season wedding. Dark purples, reds, studded with glittering gold, are the perfect foil to the ice and frost.

Dark chocolate whoopie pies are a perfect match for delicate gold calligraphy. Lots of shiny, vintage decorations give tabletops luxurious charm and interest. The sage and lime greenery pairs nicely with the more saturated garnet and plum colored flowers. Strings of cafe lights hang as a backdrop and give the entire area a warm glow that will last well into the evening.

The pure emotion of love seen in the eyes of Amy and Michael is what drew us to their story. This, obviously heartfelt, celebration was full of personal details that spoke of what the day meant to the couple. It is hard to not see the deep connection these two have. From the paper crane garlands to the childhood photos adorning the tables, the homemade decor brought everything together. Read on for Amy and Michael's love story...

Burlington International Airport, Burlington, Vermont

BTV-Wedding-1

When the Burlington Internation Airport announced last year their plans to rent a space for weddings, at a decent price, Jamie and Germain knew they wanted to be the first to have their wedding there. Area vendors quickly jumped at the chance to assist the couple in remaking the, rather unusual, space into something romantic and magical. We think they did a great job at taking a non-traditional venue and creatively transforming it into a space any modern couple could get excited about. Here is what Jamie had to say about their unique, first-ever, BTV wedding:
