Lovely Winter Warmth Wedding Inspiration | Vermont Bride Magazine

Spring may be here now, but for those of you planning a winter wedding you are probably immersed in finalizing your plans for flowers, decor, and the special little details yet to come. What I am getting at is any time of the year is the right time to ooh and aah over snow-dusted floral arrangements, cozy fires, and mouth watering, rich desserts. This country style winter inspiration, coordinated by DIY Wedding Mentor and photographed by Ashley Largesse, is full of warm and cozy details. Light and airy flower designs, by The Village Green Florist Weddings & Events, in icy blues and soft greens cut through the richness of the chocolate browns and evergreens to create a lovely contrast. With a crackling fire, cupcakes towering with fluffy frosting, and hand-knit accessories, the cold of the snow seems to melt away.

Knoll's Barn, Derby, Vermont

Country style and charm is still very much alive in the mountains of Vermont and Tarin and Derek's Derby wedding is proof of that. A beautiful, outdoor ceremony overlooking a pond was a perfect beginning to a fun-filled party with family and friends. The bride and bridesmaids all wore cowgirl boots and were transported by an old wagon filled with bales of hay and the couple gave out hand painted horseshoes as favors. Knoll's Barn was a fitting backdrop for the teal and brown, country inspired celebration the couple desired. Here is what Tarin had to tell us about their special day:
