The Romance...
Jim and I actually met on Plenty of Fish. Vermont is such a small state so we had both decided to try online dating. We were so lucky to have found each other. After chatting online for about two months we decided to meet in person. We hit off right away and started dating shortly after. Three years later we got engaged!
The Proposal...
The proposal was so sweet. Our three year anniversary was coming up so I started to think Jim was going to propose soon. He completely surprised me on Easter at his mothers house. He had put the ring inside of an Easter egg and asked his niece to help with popping the question. She got a little nervous so the proposal didn’t go exactly as planned. I was so surprised and happy, I loved it!

The Venue...
As soon as we visited The Mansfield Barn we knew it was perfect. We wanted somewhere with a beautiful view and we wanted it to show what Vermont is all about. The barn had just the right amount of elegance and a rustic feel as well.
Wedding Advice...
Stick to what you had originally envisioned. Its so easy to get caught up in planning and to forget what you originally wanted your day to be like. Take a deep breath and enjoy every moment. The wedding planning process can be stressful, try to enjoy it because the day comes so fast.
