The gown is a blue wonderland of silk, with a bodice made from vintage upholstery jacquard, that Tara Lynn inherited from her late grandfather. It is the perefect blend of something old and something new, to create something gorgeous. Shimmering blue roses hug the torso and a delicate lace applique trims the hem of the buttercream chiffon skirt. In similar contrast to the bouquet, the gown is paired with a vintage, ruby necklace and a hand-dyed burgandy velvet and blush silk headpiece. And peeking out from beneath the silk are burgandy suede shoes.
We love how Danika combined the old-fashioned feel of a Vermont farmhouse in the country, with modern and eco-conscious details and style, to create something completely new and exotic. Even the fur bolero wrap is made of hemp and cotton, making it completely vegan. There is something for everyone to love when the old and the new are thrown together and allowed to mingle in a dream of burgandy and blue.
