8 MINUTE READ

The Romance...
Jonathan and I met through a mutual friend, Jared. He introduced us one night while out with friends on Church Street in Burlington. After meeting Jonathan that night, he insisted on taking me on out on a date. Jon arrived at my college apartment with a bottle of wine and a bouquet of flowers in his loud, blue Subaru. We became best friends that summer. After meeting my family Jonathan asked me to be his girlfriend. I was so excited! Since then, we have cheered together at the US World Cup game, caught fish in Salem Lake, downhill skied with our families, dressed up as gnomes for Halloween, traveled to Florida with friends, spent summer weeks on the coast of Maine and created many fun-filled memories.

The Romance...
We went to high school together and had mutual friends. After college we all went to Vermont for a long weekend snowboarding, where Drew fell in love, and Kelly had no idea. Six months later we all went on another group vacation to Lake George New York where Kelly fell in love with Drew, and from that moment on we were inseparable.

SOMETHING OLD

Basin Harbor isn’t merely a resort. It’s a tradition, passed down from one generation to another. People have been getting married here for more than a hundred years, and it’s a special and unique place that transcends time and trends.

SOMETHING BORROWED

Basin Harbor has been in our family since 1886 and we can’t wait to share our home with you. The list of amenities at Basin Harbor goes on and on, but for a wedding, the best part is giving your family and guests the chance to stay in one place and enjoy each other’s company – not just for the ceremony and reception, but for the whole time they’re here.
